NGP, the successor to PSP, revealed earlier this year
http://anti-destiny.blogspot.com/2011/01/psp2-revealed-call-it-ngp.html has been finally renamed to Playstation Vita (Life).
It offers six-axis motion sensors, dual analog controls, front- and rear-facing cameras, an OLED touchscreen, and a touchpad on the back, too, powered by a quad core processor. A plethora of Huge names were revealed on the device, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Ruin, a new ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet and Street Fighter x Tekken, each showing off plenty of motion and touch interactivity with almost the PS3 level of graphics. Two Community interaction apps Near and Game Room were also exhibited.
Vita will be available at $249 for the WiFi-only model, or $299 for the 3G version.
